And we’re like “duh…”
The Cleveland, Ohio boy who was shot and killed by a police officer who believed him to be playing with a gun in public park. Park goers called 911 and officer Timothy Loehmann, 26, responded to the report. He claims that 12-year-old Rice didn’t comply with the verbal commands he gave out, though there was video that proved Loehmann shot the child almost immediately after jumping out of a moving patrol car. The gun in question turned out to be an Airsoft type BB gun.

Tamir’s mother Samaria Rice held a press conference earlier this week at which she stated that two boys appeared at her home to inform her of her son’s shooting. When she arrived at the park, she found Tamir on the ground and her daughter handcuffed in a police car.
The incident is still being investigated and the attorney for the Rice family has filed a lawsuit on behalf of Samaria Rice.
