Black Women in STEM: Lisette Titre

Because we at Urban Grace love educated women and want to encourage young girls to look into the STEM fields, we would like to profile women who are doing big things in the worlds of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. First up is video game developer, Lisette Titre.

Lisette Titre is a video game developer who has had her hands on some pretty big games. In her 13 years of industry experience working with gaming powerhouse Electronic Arts (EA) among other companies, she has worked on games like The Sims 4, Dante’s Inferno, Dance Central 3 and Tiger Woods Golf.

After graduating from Miami International University of Art and Design with a degree in computer animation, Ms. Titre has also taken on a passion for consulting on game-based curriculum for under-served students in an effort to encourage their interest in the STEM fields. Lisette recently worked with Solidad O’Brien’s Starfish Foundation in an effort to encourage more girls to peruse STEM careers and  is also a member of Blacks In Gaming (BIG) where she is on the committee as the organization works to support and inspire African Americans to enter the gaming industry.

Do you know a woman working in the fields of science, technology, engineering or math that we should profile? Let us know and maybe you can be our next feature!
